How to Track a Polymarket Wallet (and Get Alerts When It Trades)

Track any Polymarket wallet: find it, read its real P&L, open positions and entries, and get an email the moment it trades. A step-by-step guide to wallet tracking on Polymarket, free.

The guide

Every Polymarket trade settles on-chain, so every wallet is public. That makes Polymarket the rare market where you can follow the people who are actually winning — what they hold, where they got in, and the moment they move. Here is how to track a wallet, step by step.

1. Find the wallet

  • From a market: every market page lists its biggest holders and the smart money on each side. Click any name to open that wallet.
  • From the rankings: the Polymarket leaderboard ranks wallets by realized profit, overall and per category, with bots filtered out.
  • By address or username: paste it into the Polymarket wallet checker. Use the address on the trader's polymarket.com profile — that is their proxy wallet, the one that actually trades.

2. Read what it's doing

A wallet's page shows its realized P&L, open positions with the price it paid for each, win rate, volume, the categories it trades best and its full trade history. Read the record before the latest trade: a wallet that wins steadily in one category is worth more attention than one lucky outlier. The sharp vs. whale guide explains the difference.

3. Get an alert when it trades

On any trader page, turn on Alertsand you'll get an email the moment that wallet buys or sells. Free accounts follow one wallet; Premium follows up to 100, with filters for minimum trade size, side and category so you only hear about the moves that matter.

4. Track your own wallets together

If you trade from several wallets, the Polymarket portfolio trackercombines them into one view — combined P&L, open positions and category breakdown across all of them.

What tracking can't tell you

You see a trade after it happens, at a worse price, and the wallet's reasons stay private. Polynyx tags market makers and bots, whose P&L comes from providing liquidity rather than calling outcomes — following them rarely works. Common questions

How do I track a Polymarket wallet?

Paste its address or username into the Polynyx wallet checker to see its P&L, open positions, entries and trade history, then turn on Alerts from its trader page to get an email whenever it trades. Both are free for one wallet.

Which address do I use for a Polymarket wallet?

The one on the trader's polymarket.com profile. Polymarket users trade through a proxy wallet, not the address they log in with — the profile address is the proxy, and that is what every tracker reads.

Can I get notified when a Polymarket whale trades?

Yes. Open the wallet's trader page on Polynyx and turn on Alerts: you get an email when it trades. Free accounts can follow one wallet; Premium follows up to 100, with minimum-size, side and category filters.

Does following a profitable wallet guarantee profit?

No. A wallet's record is context, not a signal: you enter later and at a different price, market makers and bots trade for reasons that don't transfer, and past profit doesn't guarantee future results.
